A core belief here at Lillie Gathers is that the most instagrammable, well-decorated party is empty without meaningful conversation. The job of the host is to curate an entire experience. We love Priya Parker’s concept of “15 Toasts” and try to do a version of it at every gathering we throw. The basic concept is that by the end of the night, each guest has to give a toast to a theme set by the host.

  • Why I love you: Over dinner, brunch, or drinks, each attendee goes around and shares why they love the bride.

  • How I’ll show up for you: The bachelorette is a moment of transformation in the bride’s life. Each attendee should take turns saying how they will support the bride in her next phase.

  • What you friendship means to me: Each person shares why they cherish their friendship with the bride, now and in the future.
